Affiliate Marketing is not for everyone. But it is a means to an end. This is my Wealthy Affiliate Review and Why I got involved in the program. Have a quick look yourself to see what’s in it for you, without any obligation, by clicking the link.
Many people yearn to make a buck online but just don’t know where to start. They have insufficient or zero capital. They have zero or insufficient training and skills. They have insufficient or zero available time plus many other reasons.
But most of all, they don’t have belief. Belief in themselves; belief in their skills; belief in their experiences. Perhaps they have been told over time, that they are useless; or that Affiliate Programs are bad. Or that they must look for a proper job.
All the above describes me. Until I discovered the Wealthy Affiliate program.
The Wealthy Affiliate Training Program
The Wealthy Affiliate Training program takes the student though a gradual process of explaining the training materials with videos and easy-to-follow action steps. The course is split into multiple phases and lessons with a very clear and visible progress meter showing the progress being made. With frequent checklists and Question and Answer sections in every part of the course, it is designed to immerse the student from the first minute while assuming that student has absolutely no prior knowledge of Affiliate Marketing.
Benefits of Wealthy Affiliate
You choose a theme or a niche. Perhaps it is an interest you have. A hobby or a sport. Something that you would often spend many hours talking with friends about. Then you get to create a blog where you can include all your thoughts, and opinions, and personal experiences, and in such a way as to maximize potential for earning from it later.
At the start, no experience is necessary. If someone can use a computer to type a letter or play a game like Call of Duty, then they can learn about Affiliate Marketing via the Wealthy Affiliate Program.

Why people say Affiliate Marketing doesn’t work
Some people claim that Wealthy Affiliate does not work. That it may be a scam. In my opinion, that is like saying attending class at Cambridge University is a scam if you fail. One really does need to attend the training and study the information presented. It is not sufficient to simply turn up, and expect to be in the money.
It is free for anyone to get started with the Wealthy Affiliate training. You could definitely put up a website with some useful content and start promoting within the 30 days Free Trial, but more options and features are opened up if you subscribe to the program. Where else can you learn about Affiliate Marketing for around $30 per month as a paid member and only $19 in your first paid month during which you have 30 days to use ALL the features?
Starter Membership is free for ever.
Premium Membership is $47 per month or $359 per year. But only $19 for the first month, so you can really have a look around with access to all the training.
Admittedly it is not possible or unlikely, that all the training can be completed within the first 30 days, but you have the option to see everything that is available on offer.
Of course, you can choose to remain a Free member for ever and you will still benefit from all the open lessons.
So in my opinion, the biggest cause of failure in this program, like any other training, is the failure to take action.

Affiliate Programs
Now there are many affiliate programs out there in the world. Arguably, one of the most successful companies in the world is Amazon and they sell a lot of their products through referrals and recommendations. Now imagine just having a few percent of each sale that you have personally referred. There is bound to be something selling on Amazon which you could promote through your niche website, to people.
Some other examples of Affiliate networks are Ebay, Shareasale.com, Commission Junction, Linkshare.com, Clickbank etc.
Finally, I should advise that I started as a Free member. I liked what I saw so decided to pay the $19 for the full premium access for 30 days. The information provided in the training is a gold mine, but because of financnes, I went on to monthly payments for a few months. Which is the most expensive option.
I finally borrowed some money from a friend to pay the cost annually, and the rest as they say, is history! So first few days I was a free member, then 30 days a Premium discounted to $19, followed by the next 3 months at $49 each. Until finally, I decided to simply pay for the year in one hit which reduced my monthly costs.
