I have been interested and involved in a variety of businesses since my teenage years from selling party plan snacks at 16 (when I ate most of the products) to selling unwanted stuff at boot sales and community fete’s in the 80s and 90s. Also, got involved in the Import and Export of a range of products before moving into Multi-Level Marketing in the mid 90s.

If you are interested in business like I am, then you are probably always looking for the easy way to make a buck and the truth is, there is no real easy way. All the businesses require hands-on input, planning and thinking about strategy and deliverables.

Helping People to be Successful

I love working with people and I have been employed for a number of years here and there in between my various projects. But I realised a long time ago that I don’t fit into the 9-5 routine as well as often having different opinions with the “boss”.

Working for myself in any capacity is when I am happiest, more content, and more creative. There are few opportunities to really help other people to be successful and to work with them. Multi-level marketing was one; And Affiliate Marketing is like that too – only based more online.

So I love this form of business as a way of earning for myself and to help others to do the same. Given the low cost of entry to this business format, it can be seen as an entry-level in to other businesses, and skills learned here will ultimately help any aspiring business owner.

The Purpose of my site

Is to introduce as many people as possible to the opportunity that is Affiliate Marketing. Affiliate Marketing in its simplest form is to promote a business and earn commissions directly related to the effort spent on promoting that products.

But What is the Product?

There are many products sold via affiliate marketing. One of the most common scenarios is being an Amazon affiliate. Or Ebay affiliate; or an affiliate of Affiliate Window; or Clickbank, Commission Junction, LinkShare and many others. There are hundreds if not thousands of affiliate programs. One only needs to find one product or service that matches the website theme and find a supporting Affiliate Program. By promoting the product one can earn commissions on every unit sold.
